Having sold a few of the latest Beosound 5/Beomaster 5 units from Bang & Olufsen, today presented a slightly different challenge in that the router - a necessary device to get the units working and linked to the Web for Internet Radio/Data use - was positioned far away from where the Beosound 5 was to be installed. Thanks to some very helpful people and ignoring some of their advice(!), we managed to get the Beomaster 5 operating wirelessly rather than running Ethernet-over-Mains (not possible with this job) or by running a torturous and expensive cable route. Furthermore, with a 13 year old - but as new - Beosound 9000 with the correct software levels everything.

If you are considering a Beomaster 5 or Beosound 5/Beomaster 5 combination don't let the thought of having to run Ethernet to your router put you off, installation is (but wasn't at the time) fairly straightforward with the right advice!
