More new stock, buying news...

***Just arrived, Beovision 7-32 HD MK3 Type 9334 S/N 20246703, 181 days VIDEO use, 19 days DVD use, Siler/Black, £3900.***

Beolab 9 2007, BV9 720p 2007, BS2300 with 2500 speakers with wall mount, 2 x 4000 speakers, Beolab 2, BV3-28 with STB/DSS, Beocenter 2 DVD, Beolab 2, Beolab 4000, BV6-26.

We are enjoying a very active start to 2010, hopefully based on the fact we offer reasonable prices for used stock, excellent advice and a friendly service. Our stock levels are very healthy which has forced us to rejig the demonstration facility on the first floor of Unit 1, The Bell Center.

New into stock over the past four weeks are 3 x BV9 720p, which are offered at fantastic prices from morethanAV, starting at £7500. Obviously £7500 is a fantastic amount of money for a television but breaking things down, you may consider the reasoning behind our purchase of them given the market place we trade in. Remember the latest MK3 versions are almost £16000 new!

Beovision 9 720P is a 50 inch high-definition screen (or HD Ready to use the correct terminology which only serves to confuse all of us!) on a motorised floor stand, with an inbuilt Beosystem 3 and harnessing a centre speaker, based on the excellent Beolab 7-4. This is where it becomes interesting because individually a used Beosystem 3 retails in the region of £4000, a used Beolab 7-4 speaker in the region of £1600 and so on..... in effect you are getting the cabinet, motorised floor stand and 50" screen (not to mention the inbuilt-HDR2) for £1900, which in B&O terms is a veritable bargain! These are stunning units if you have the room....

January 2010 has also witnessed a proliferation of Beolab 4000 loudspeakers coming to us, and this is a fantastic and versatile bookshelf speaker. Quite often I recommend these speakers for use as either a stereo pair or as centre speakers in a surround sound environment with a wall-mounted flat-screen when the customer has exisiting Beolab Pentas, 8000's and 6000's...

Best wishes for the coming week, Ian, morethanAV
